The SLILA Landscape Architecture Awards celebrate the creativity, commitment, and professional excellence of Sri Lankan landscape architects. These awards aim to: Recognize and honour exemplary works of landscape architecture across the country. Give due recognition to the profession of Landscape Architecture and its practitioners for their role in shaping sustainable, resilient, and meaningful environments. Promote public awareness about the importance of landscape architecture in improving the quality, resilience, and cultural identity of our living environments. Through this initiative, SLILA showcases the role of landscape architects in guiding the planning, design, conservation, and management of Sri Lanka’s diverse landscapes — from urban open spaces and heritage precincts to rural ecological systems.
